Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Policy
Tools Mantra (www.tools.mantrapdf.com) respects the intellectual property rights of others and is committed to complying with the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) (17 U.S.C. § 512) and other applicable intellectual property laws.
As an online service provider offering PDF tools, we act as an intermediary for user-generated content (i.e., the PDF files that users upload and process through our tools). We do not actively monitor the content of files uploaded by our users. However, we will respond expeditiously to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement that are properly provided to us.
Important Note Regarding PDF Tools and User Content:
Tools Mantra does not store user files permanently. Files uploaded for processing are temporarily held on our servers only for the duration of the requested operation and are automatically and permanently deleted shortly thereafter (e.g., typically within 60 minutes or upon closing the browser session). We do not retain copies of your documents. Therefore, if infringing content is removed from our servers, it is a permanent deletion, and we cannot restore it.
Designated Agent for Notification of Claimed Infringement:
Pursuant to the DMCA, all notifications of claimed copyright infringement should be sent to our Designated Agent.
Designated Agent Contact Information:
Name: [Your Name or Company Name/DMCA Agent Name – if you have one appointed] Email: mantrapdf29@gmail.com
Please note: Only DMCA notices should be sent to this email address. For all other inquiries, please use our general contact email.
Procedure for Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA Takedown Notice):
If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content made available through our website infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a written notification to our Designated Agent containing the following information (as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., the specific URL where the content was processed if you have it, or details about the type of content and time of suspected infringement).
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address at which the complaining party may be contacted.
- A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will take appropriate action, which may include:
- Removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material.
- Notifying the user who uploaded the material (if identifiable and if the content has not already been automatically deleted).
- Implementing a repeat infringer policy as described below.
Procedure for Submitting a Counter-Notification:
If you believe that your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our Designated Agent. Your counter-notification must be a written communication and include substantially the following (as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3)):
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which the address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Tools Mantra may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will promptly provide the complaining party with a copy of the counter-notification and inform them that we will replace the removed material or cease disabling access to it in 10 business days. We will replace the removed material or cease disabling access to it within 10 to 14 business days following receipt of the counter-notification, unless our Designated Agent first receives notice from the person who submitted the original DMCA notification that such person has filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the subscriber from engaging in infringing activity relating to the material on our system.
Repeat Infringer Policy:
Tools Mantra is committed to taking appropriate action against users who repeatedly infringe the intellectual property rights of others. While the nature of our service (temporary file processing) limits our ability to track repeat infringement of specific content, we will take reasonable steps to identify and, in appropriate circumstances, terminate users who are repeat infringers of our Terms & Conditions, which prohibit the uploading of infringing content.
Changes to This DMCA Policy:
We may update our DMCA Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new DMCA Policy on this page.
